Occupying two massive postcodes, M22 and M23, Wythenshawe can include Baguley, Brooklands, Benchill, Peel Hall, Newall Green, Northern Moor, Northenden, Sharston and Woodhouse Park. Guess what? I love working in all of them!
There is obvious when you think of Wythenshawe such as the hospital and the airport. It’s true both of these draw many workers to the area but there’s some much more than that. Some parts of it could still be classed as rural up until 50/60 years ago with some parts still retaining that feel. You’ve got swathes of greenspace to explore such as Wythenshawe Park with it’s famous Tudor house to view as well as thriving highstreets, Northenden village is a particular favourite of mine.
With some of the best transport links Manchester has to offer you are never far from the action, with it’s own tram line, excellent buss network and of course the M56 and M60 you can commute across the North West with ease (I’ve not even mentioned the airport for those trips to Benidorm!).
